Magazine Distribution of DivX Software

DivX® permits magazine publishers to distribute DivX software on promotional CDs included with specific issues of their publication.

In order to distribute DivX software, you must first register and provide us with the information below. You must also send a copy of the magazine issue with which you wish to include DivX software to our corporate address.

In order to ensure that you are distributing the latest versions of DivX software products, we ask that you please fill out the form on this page for every issue with which you intend to distribute DivX software. If you would like to distribute DivX software with your magazine on a recurring basis, you may contact DivX at to discuss an arrangement.

Please note, this magazine license gives you the right to distribute our installers on a promotional CD. It does not give you the right to use DivX video to encode video for inclusion on your promotional CDs. Encoding and distributing video content requires a DivX Commercial Content Distribution License.
