With a DivX Connected™ product, you can rent or buy DivX® Video-on-Demand (VOD) titles online, download to your PC and play them on your TV. But first you must create a DivX Account (through the DivX Player) to register your device(s).
1. Open DivX Player on your computer. On the Tools menu, choose Device Manager and click Register device. On the next screen, choose the brand that matches your device and click Next.

2. If you already have your DivX VOD Registration/Activation code, enter it, name your device and click Next. If you don’t have your code, start the DivX Connected Server on your computer and make sure your device is connected. On the Device Settings tab, right-click your DivX Connected device and choose Activate. Copy the 8-character code, enter it in the Device Activation window, name your device and click Next.

3. Next, save the activation file to a Video folder that is being monitored by the DivX Connected Server.

4. Go to your device. Choose Videos and play the activation file you saved. When it’s done, a DivX logo with a confirmation screen will appear.
NOTE: Do you have more than one DivX Connected device? Repeat steps above for each one separately. The same activation file won’t work on a different device.
That’s it! Your DivX Connected product is now one of the six devices you’re allowed to register to your DivX account to play DivX VOD titles.
