The DivX Affiliate Program is a way for you to earn money by promoting and selling DivX software on your own website or newsletters. Every time a visitor comes to DivX through your website or newsletter and completes a purchase, you earn a 20% commission on the transaction. We also offer a tiered commission structure that give top sellers 25% commission.
How can I get started with the DivX Affiliate Program?
First, you will need to be approved to be a DivX affiliate. To get started, simply fill out the application. Once we approve your application, you’ll receive an email with information on how to begin earning.
What does it cost and what do I need?
The program is absolutely free. To participate, all you need is a website or newsletter where you can host the DivX banners and links that we provide through Commission Junction. Once you’re approved, you can start earning money right away.
What does my website or newsletter need to qualify?
Any website can apply for our program; however, DivX reviews each application and approves or denies on a case-by-case basis. To ensure the quality of our affiliate program, we look at the content, traffic and reputation of each applicant’s website to make sure your site is acceptable. DivX does reserve the right to also withdraw program terms from any website that violates any laws and copyrights.
How are the orders tracked?
Commission Junction will attach your unique affiliate ID to all banners that you post. Each time you drive a sale through these banners our system automatically identifies you and credits your website. Even if a user doesn’t purchase DivX software the first time they visit, their machine is cookied for 45 days so if they purchase anytime within the 45-day time frame, you still earn the commission.
Do I have a sales quota?
No. However, top sellers are bumped up to a 25% commission.
How much can I make?
Affiliates earn a base 20% commission per transaction that comes through your website or newsletter. Affiliates who do well with our program are offered improved program terms with a commission rate of 25%. For sales greater than $1,000 a month, all affiliates receive an additional 5% increase from their base commission.
How do I know how much I’ve earned?
Commission Junction manages the payments as well as live and historical tracking, allowing you to see how you’re doing at any time. You can sign in to your Personal Account page on Commission Junction and access detailed web reports to keep track of your performance.
When and how do I get paid?
We partner with Commission Junction to mange affiliate payments. You will get paid monthly by check through Commission Junction when your account reaches a minimum of $100 USD. If you opt for the direct deposit methodology, your minimum for payout is $50 USD. If you do not reach your minimum, the amount will be carried over to the next month.
What are my responsibilities as a program member?
As a member of the DivX Affiliate Program, you represent an extension of the DivX brand. As such, your responsibilities are to:
Give the DivX banners a visible location on your website
Ensure that your website content is appropriate for an association with DivX
Use the banner provided and create accurate links to DivX so we can track your sales and pay you referral fees
