When you’re watching a video, nothing should get between you and your content. With the release of DivX Software 11.16 for Windows and Mac, we’ve focused on refining the playback experience – bringing you a cleaner interface, smarter controls, and a lighter, faster application.
Here is a look at what’s new in DivX 11:
Meet the Focused Player
Say goodbye to distracting UI elements. The new focused player delivers a minimal, immersive viewing experience designed to put your video front and center.
Playback controls now intelligently fade away when you don’t need them and reappear seamlessly when you need them. It gives you edge-to-edge viewing with zero distractions.
Precision Seeking with Hover Previews
Finding the exact scene you’re looking for just got better. Our upgraded visual scrubber introduces hover thumbnail previews directly on the playback bar.
As you move your cursor along the timeline, real-time video thumbnails pop up to give you an instant visual preview of what’s ahead – making video scrubbing easier and more accurate.
Under the Hood: Faster, Lighter and Cleaner
Alongside visual playback upgrades, version 11.16 delivers several performance and usability polish points:

- HEIC Image Conversion Fixes (Windows): Enjoy reliable image conversions without unexpected errors.
- Clearer Branding: Updated DivX Pro indicators make it easy to spot free capabilities versus premium upgrade options.
