When you participate in one of our surveys, we collect your survey responses.

When you create an account and purchase protected DivX content using the DivX Player, the DivX Player application tracks and logs requests to view the protected content in order for us to enforce the usage rights set by the content owner. In order for your copy of the protected content to play using the DivX Player, a unique identifier is inserted into your copy of the protected content.

Information that identifies, relates to, describes, or is capable of being associated with, a particular individual, including, but not limited to, his or her name, signature, social security number, physical characteristics or description, address, telephone number, passport number, driver’s license or state identification card number, insurance policy number, education, employment, employment history, bank account number, credit card number, debit card number, or any other financial information, medical information, or health insurance information. When you purchase our software products, our vendor collects all information necessary to complete the transaction, including your name, credit card information, billing information, and shipping information.

When you create an account to register your DivX product on our Site, we collect Personal Information from you, such as your device information.

When you create an account in our Support Forums, we collect Personal Information from you, such as your device information.

Internet or other electronic network activity information (e.g., browsing history, search history, and information regarding a consumer’s interaction with an Internet Web site, application, or advertisement). Our email newsletter uses single-pixel or transparent image HTML-based emails, which allows us to track how many people open the emails we send out. This information is only collected if you subscribe to our email newsletter.
Audio, electronic, visual, thermal, olfactory, or similar information When you contact us via telephone and leave a voicemail, our system records your voicemail.

You can decline to provide us with your Personal Information, however this may limit your ability to access certain features of our site and our software. To provide a safe and enjoyable experience for our users, some areas of our site are accessible only while logged into an account. We will inform you at the point of collecting information from you whether you are required to provide the information to us.

The Company is based in the United States. Your Personal Information may be processed in the country in which it was collected and in other countries, including the United States, where laws regarding processing of Personal Information may be different than the laws in your country.

7. Cookies and Pixel Tags.

“Cookies” are small pieces of information that a website sends to your computer’s hard drive while you are viewing a web
site. “Pixel Tags” are tiny graphic images with a unique identifier that function similarly to Cookies that are used to track
internet usage patterns. In contrast to Cookies, which are stored on a user’s computer hard drive, Pixel Tags are embedded
invisibly in Web pages.

We use Cookies and Pixel Tags on our site to collect anonymous usage data. We do not connect this anonymous data to
users’ Personal Information. Persistent Cookies can be removed by following your Internet browser help file directions. If

We aim to make it easy for you to keep your Personal Information accurate, complete, and up to date. 10. Changes to Your Personal Information.

You may change any of your Personal Information in your account by editing your profile within your account or by sending an e-mail to us at divx-support@divx.com. You may request deletion of your Personal Information by us, but please note that we may be required to keep this information and not delete it (or to keep this information for a certain time, in which case we will comply with your deletion request only after we have fulfilled such requirements). When we delete any information, it will be deleted from the active database, but may remain in our archives. We may decline to process requests that are unreasonably repetitive, require disproportionate technical effort, jeopardize the privacy of others, are extremely impractical, or for which access is not otherwise required by applicable law.

We do not intentionally gather Personal Information about visitors under the age of 13.
