How to Register
You must complete a one-time registration process in order to play a purchased DivX movie on your DivX device. Registration is not needed to play free DivX movies you create or download.
Get Started
Before we start, make sure you've downloaded and installed the latest DivX Player for Windows or Mac desktop bundle.
STEP 1: CREATE A DIVX VOD ACCOUNT
Open DivX Player for Windows or Mac and navigate to the "VOD" menu to "Register a DivX Certified Device." You must log in or create a DivX Account to begin registration.
STEP 2: GET DIVX REGISTRATION CODE FROM DEVICE
Find your DivX Registration Code, typically located in the device's main settings menu. Enter this code into DivX Player to continue registration.
STEP 3: DOWNLOAD & PLAY REGISTRATION VIDEO
When the code is entered into DivX Player, you'll be prompted to download a registration video to your desktop. This video must be played on your certified device to complete registration. To do so, transfer the video the same way you normally would to play free DivX movies (burn to disc, copy to USB, access via DLNA home network, etc.).
Once the video has played on your device, registration is done. Now go enjoy some purchased DivX movies on your certified device!
