Industry Veteran Mark Lawson Named European Sales Director, Will Focus on DivX Powered Video-on-Demand, Consumer Electronics and Software Bundling
Guildford, England—February 26, 2003—DivXNetworks, Inc., the company that created the revolutionary, patent-pending DivX® video compression technology, today announced the opening of a European sales and marketing office in Guildford, England and the appointment of Mark Lawson as Sales Director, Europe.
Mr. Lawson will head up the UK office and focus on key markets for DivX technology including creating video-on-demand solutions with major European cable and DSL infrastructure providers, supporting the DivX Certified™ program for consumer electronics products and licensing DivX video technology to major European software companies.
