With the latest release of DivX 11 Software (Windows/Mac), you can now easily search for subtitles to your favorite movies and TV shows directly from the free DivX Player! Simply search by movie title from millions of subtitle files in over 50 languages from the OpenSubtitles.com database. In addition to subtitle support, DivX 11.11 has numerous fixes to ensure the best, most secure desktop video playback and converting experience.
Finding Subtitles in DivX Software
To find a subtitle file that matches your movie or TV show, follow these simple instructions:
- Open your video file.
- Once the video is open, rollover the Subtitle icon in the bottom right and select “Find Subtitle”
- This will open a search box where you can search by movie or TV show name. If you want to refine even further, click on the “IMDB ID” to find multiple subtitle options for the movie you’re looking for.
- Sort the options to find a variety of choices and languages as well as ratings.
- Select the subtitle you want and begin!
NOTE: You can easily update settings to change the font, color and size to whatever you prefer for viewing subtitles. Simply rollover the Subtitle icon at the bottom and select “Settings”. You can even alter the timing of the subtitles to best fit your video if the timing doesn’t work properly (you can set it to a positive or negative number to have the subtitles start earlier or later than they currently do.)
